About PdfKit
Practical PDF tools that run entirely in your browser.
What PdfKit is
PdfKit is a collection of free PDF tools: merge, split, rotate, compress, convert images to PDF, render PDF pages as images, and extract text. No account, no watermark, no upload; batches of up to 5 files at a time, 50 MB each.
How it works
Every tool runs inside your browser, powered by two open-source PDF libraries: pdf-lib for document surgery and PDF.js for rendering. Your files are processed on your own device and never reach a server, which keeps the tools private and free.
Why it's free
The site is supported by advertising, which covers the cost of running it. That's the whole model: you bring the documents, your device does the work, and ads keep the lights on.
The tech
PdfKit is a plain static site with no frameworks and no tracking of its own. Its sibling sites, PixKit and VidsKit, do the same for images and video.
